Beautiful Crochet Needle Hand Piece with hexagonal handle that was hand machined and hand engraved by The Tool Engraver. (@thetoolengraver on Instagram).
The tool features six separate needle points (H8, G6, F5, E4, D3, and C2) which can be hidden inside the custom brass handle for travel. It measures approximately 4-1/2 inches in length when closed and weighs approximately 3 ounces.
The engraved design was created from scratch and executed using a Steve Lindsay hand graver.
The American scroll design, typical of the turn of the last century, is a hat tip to the engravers of the time.
The engraving was darkened to complement the lightly polished metal.
The scroll design on each hand piece is the same, but there are slight differences as each one was engraved one at a time by hand.
