Hand Engraved Cast Iron (fixed blade) Utility Knife

Offered here is a beautiful vintage Made in USA utility knife, hand engraved by The Tool Engraver (known on Instagram as @thetoolengraver).

Compact yet durable, this cast iron knife measures approximately 4.75 inches in length and weighs about 5.7 ounces—making it a practical and reliable tool for everyday tasks. Cast iron utility knives have long been trusted by tradesmen and craftsmen for their simple, rugged design and dependable performance.

The scroll design was created entirely from scratch and executed by hand using a Steve Lindsay hand graver. Every line was individually cut—no laser engraving, no machine replication—ensuring authentic craftsmanship with lasting depth.

The engraving has been carefully colored to complement the existing patinaed paint, enhancing contrast while preserving the knife’s clean, classic appearance.

Included are three new old stock blades, allowing the knife to arrive ready for use.
