Constructed from durable cast metal, this knife measures approximately 6.5 inches in length and weighs 3.6 ounces—providing a solid, balanced feel in the hand. The AIRWAY No. 6 is a straightforward, dependable utility knife designed for real work while maintaining the classic character of traditional shop tools.
The scroll design was created entirely from scratch and executed by hand using a Steve Lindsay hand graver. Every line was individually cut—no laser engraving, no machine replication—ensuring authentic craftsmanship with depth and permanence.
Inspired by traditional American scrollwork of the early 20th century, the engraving pays tribute to the engravers of that era. The design has been carefully colored black to complement the lightly polished metal frame, enhancing contrast while preserving the tool’s clean, purposeful appearance.
